It definitely...This is good stuff and good advice. It definitely helps draw your attention to get a grip - on the appropriate lifeline. God's big picture view of things really does let you see how small these troubles are in the grand scheme of things.<BR/><BR/>I guess what I see as well is that the rain falls on the just and the unjust alike. There are virtuous people out there who are suffering too. We can't simply say that if you're struggling, it's because you were greedy. I do think that compassion should be extended to all. It is never fun to struggle. (Note: Compassion is free and doesn't always come in the form of a bailout.)<BR/><BR/>I also see this as a lack of accountability - we don't have that in our culture anymore and it's sorely needed. Being "personally responsible" is a vague, vaporous idea to most people anymore and it's not clear how to acquire that, practically, in your life.
